The Retribution of Everyday Things

In his early teens, the house began taking its revenge on Gordon by dropping light fixtures on his head. At least one of these events occurred in the garage workshop, where he was working on something. He came in with a large cut on the top of his head, and besides being in pain, was insulted that the glass fixture cover could drop down on top of him like that.
